Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
Energising and awakening
Kundalini Yoga includes dynamic movement, posture, breath-work, mantra, meditation and relaxation. In Kundalini Meditation we use specific breathing patterns, mudras (hand positions), mantras (vibratory sounds) and mental focus. All levels of experience are welcome.
Kundalini Yoga is a Fire practice. It burns through blockages - that which is holding you back. It is energetic and physical, strengthening and invigorating, but we always settle into a deep relaxation at the end to integrate this vital energy which is awakened during the practice. |
'Practising Kundalini Yoga, brings about a natural unfolding of your true nature'

What is 'Kundalini'?
Kundalini is a potent energy which resides within each of us. It is sometimes referred to as 'Goddess' energy or 'Shakti', which is the creative life-force, from which all of existence is birthed. Kundalini is sometimes depicted as a snake coiled at the base of the spine which, when awakens, rises up through the 'chakras' (energy centres) located in the mid-line of our body. Put simply, raising Kundalini is the natural unfolding of your true nature. Through practising yoga regularly, energy pathways within our body open up, allowing Kundalini energy/Shakti to rise. |
